Role overview:
Plays an intrinsic part in the creative process, often from initial client brief, formulating concepts and layouts right through to production of final artwork

Technical skills
• Qualifications in graphic design or similar
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in industry
• Excellent knowledge of the principles of graphic design and typography, and demonstrable experience of practising these within the bounds of corporate identity
• Creative approach to briefs, while working with corporate guidelines if appropriate
• Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
• A good understanding of print production techniques, requirements and the latest developments in industry
• High proficiency in a range of design software, Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office – any
• Digital and web experience

Management skills
• A creative thinker with good problem-solving skills
• Organised with the ability to multitask
• Ability to lead / be involved in the creative process

• Ability to articulate creative ideas, both verbally and in writing
• Used to working under pressure
• Deadline orientated / time management
• Able to work as part of a team
• Numerate and articulate, with excellent interpersonal skills and well presented
• Hard-working, diligent
• Committed to quality

Industry awareness
• Enthusiasm for design and well-informed of current trends and issues
• Creative thinking to produce innovative ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
• Pushing the boundaries and the current design offering
• Utilising social media and growing the exposure of the Prova design department within the PR business sector and wider industry
Client handling
• Able to communicate with internal team / external clients / suppliers
• Strong administrator, creative briefs, communication with clients, time reporting
• Financial awareness, client quotes, raising POs negotiating costs with suppliers
• Able to maintain confidentiality

Self-management
• Ensure punctuality and appropriate dress at all times
• Show effective time management skills for work and client handling
• Proof read all written material, including emails
• Effectively manage junior and senior account members
• Delegate activities, provide relevant briefs and ensure timely delivery
• Recognise the importance of your position amongst the team
• Demonstrate support of company decisions and be a role model
• Act as a Prova brand ambassador in everything you do
